Perhaps you’re the one everyone relies on, and you’re exhausted by it. Maybe even resentful. You are often there for other people, yet can be left wondering who notices what you need.
You may feel overlooked at work, taken for granted in your relationship or like an afterthought in your friendships. Perhaps you compare yourself with others and wonder why you are not coping as well as they seem to be. You would like to switch your mind off without scrolling for an hour first, or stop judging yourself every time you lose patience with someone you love.
Parenthood may have changed your life and your sense of who you are. You might love being a parent while also missing parts of yourself, feeling guilty for wanting more space or struggling with the pressure to get everything right.
You may be moving through perimenopause or menopause and finding that changes in your mood, confidence, body or relationships have left you feeling overwhelmed or unlike yourself.
Or perhaps you are living between cultures and trying to make sense of different expectations, values or versions of yourself. You may sometimes feel that you do not fully belong in either place, or find it difficult to explain your experience to those around you.
You may be wondering whether therapy is the right step. Perhaps you are worried it will change your relationships with the people you love, that you will have to revisit things you have worked hard to leave behind, or that you will find yourself crying in front of a stranger.
If you recognise yourself in any of this, you do not have to keep trying to make sense of it on your own. I can offer space to understand how you came to occupy certain roles, notice where your own needs have been lost and begin relating to yourself with less judgement.
I offer a free 15–20-minute introductory call where we can talk briefly about what has been bringing you here, answer any questions you may have and see whether working together feels right. If we decide to work together, we will move at a pace that feels manageable, with no expectation that you talk about anything before you are ready.
My Journey
My journey into therapy began as a client, and experiencing its profound impact on my own life and relationships inspired me to become a therapist. I work with adults in English and Polish, and as a British and Polish citizen, I understand what it’s like to navigate different cultures and can draw on that experience to support international clients.
Before training as a therapist, I worked in London in media and publishing, which gave me a deep interest in building relationships and understanding different personalities. I bring this curiosity, openness, and attentiveness to therapy, alongside my core values of empathy, respect, and collaboration, to create a safe, non–judgmental space where clients can feel truly seen, heard, and supported.
My Qualifications
I’m a qualified and BACP-registered counsellor, trained at the Minster Centre, one of Europe’s longest-established and leading institutions for Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling. I’m currently completing my Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy on the emotional impact of physical punishment during early developmental years.
My work is fully insured and professionally supervised in accordance with BACP guidelines, and I adhere to BACP codes of ethics.
My Approach
I work in an integrative way, combining a range of therapeutic approaches to suit each client’s unique needs. In our work together, we explore thoughts, emotions, past experiences, and the ways these are reflected in the body, helping you understand patterns, process experiences, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others.
